Who must file a BOI report?

If you created a business by filing documents with the Secretary of State and do not meet one of the 23 exemptions you are required to file.

When must you file?

If your business was filed before January 1, 2024 you have until January 1, 2025 to file. If you formed your business after January 1, 2024 you have 90 days after formation.

What information do you need to file?

For every beneficial owner you will need their name, residential address, date of birth and a non expired identification document issued by a state, local government or tribe. For the reporting company you will need the full legal name, trade name, U.S. address where the company conducts business and EIN.
